Labs
PEL has nine research laboratories, almost all located inside the Electrical Engineering Laboratory (LEE) from the Faculty of Engineering of UERJ, located at the Maracanã Campus – Rio de Janeiro:

- Power Electronics and Automation Laboratory
- Computer Networks Laboratory
- Modeling and Interactive Simulation Laboratory
- Automatic Circuit Synthesis Laboratory
- Evolutionary Systems Laboratory
- Processing of Signals, Applied Inteligence and Communications Laboratory
- Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Eletrônica Laboratory
- Industrial Networks and Automation Systems Laboratory
Study Room
PEL has a study room for students, located in block F, room 5136, within the Electrical Engineering Laboratory (LEE) from the Faculty of Engineering of UERJ, Campus Maracanã – Rio de Janeiro. This room has 12 tables and chairs, air conditioning and magnetic whiteboard.
Videoconferencing Room
This room allows both the participation of members from other cities and countries in Dissertation defenses at PEL, as well as offering and attending lectures and distance courses, increasing the interaction of PEL members with researchers from different places.
Libraries
The Faculty of Engineering at UERJ has a library that includes the Electronics area, the Biblioteca de Tecnologia e Ciências B (CTC/B), located on the Maracanã Campus, João Lyra Filho Pavilion, 5th floor, block C, room 5002. The Library’s collection consists of CD-ROMs, DVDs, leaflets, books, maps, monographs, access to national and international periodicals, dissertations and theses.
The Library has microcomputers connected to the Internet, with access to the Portal de Periódicos of CAPES, including the databases:
This library is associated with other UERJ libraries through the Rede Sirius and is part of Sharing Program between Libraries of Higher Education Institutions in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
